One perfumed green tea and one black from Mariage Freres

Mariage Freres, Montagne de Jade, perfumed green tea;
Dark lemon yellow, very delicate mouthfeel, aromas of a botanical garden, roses, lavendel hints, hibiscus, caprifol, perfume, hints of green notes in the back and orange flowers with lemon hints. Very complex and pleasant, but not the longest aftertaste. Transparent. A personal favorite. 88

Mariage Freres, The au Tibet, flowery black tea;
Amber with green rim, perfumed and some roses, very beautifull and intence smell, like a very elegant and floral Earl Grey, but much more elegant and transparent, some bergamot, lime and lemon, caprifol, anis, small hint in the back of white chocolate and vanilla. Soothing and tender mouthfeel, very long and pleasant aftertaste. Another personal favorite. 91

Pai Mu Dan and Ceylon, Taylors of Harrogate.

Taylors of Harrogate, Special Rare, China White Leaf Tea, Pai Mu Dan, Fujian Province;
Lemon yellow, very delicate mouthfeel, tender and fragrant, hints of herbs and green notes, mellow floral notes in the back, very elegant and balanced is the key words in this tea. Good length. 88

Taylors of Harrogate, Special Rare, Ceylon Leaf Tea, Diyagama West;
Amber colour, thin green rim. Intence but pleasant attack, then more gentle, citrus, orange and lemon peel, some spices, some tannins even when gently brewed, soft and long aftertaste, a bit bitter at the end. An elegant Ceylon. 85

One Ceylon and one Darjeeling from Mariage Freres

Mariage Freres Darjeeling Princeton, Grand Darjeeling TGFOP;
Pale amber colour, very pleasant mouthfeel, and a very elegant Darjeeling. Rich in flavours, but still tender and transparent. Some green notes, perfumed and floral, hints of citrus fruits and some orange peel in the back, then mellow notes, almost like a white tea in it's tenderness. Is there some bergamot as well? if it is, it's very subtle. Fantastic long aftertaste, amazing Darjeeling. 93

Mariage Freres Saint James O.P., Ceylon Finest Harvest;
Redish amber colour, green rim, mellow and tender, very delicate and elagant for a Ceylon. Not the most complex and big, but that is excactly why it is this good, Bergamot, some sitrus and orange tones, hints of flowers, tiny hints of mahogany, complex but subtle nose. Very elegant Ceylon 89
